Zimbabwe beat Namibia by six wickets at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek this Friday to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

Namibia and Zimbabwe headed into the third T20 international tied 1-all after the Chevrons leveled up the series in their previous encounter, winning by five wickets. Hosts Namibia won the toss and elected to bat, putting a total of 138 runs for a loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Chasing for 139 runs for victory, Zimbabwe had a slow start losing Nick Welch for 10 runs before Captain Craig Ervine and returning Tinashe Kamunhukamwe repaired the damage before they departed.

Once again all-rounder Sikandar Raza who put up 52 runs off 36 balls was the star of the show, while Tinashe Kamunhukamwe who delivered 36 runs provided good support.
