Man Utd believe they will land Harry Kane this summer

Manchester United is going ‘all out’ sign to sign Tottenham and England legend Harry Kane in the summer transfer window, according to a huge new update.  This has been another memorable season for the 29-year-old, who has continued to strengthen his reputation as one of the greatest strikers of his generation. Not only has Kane scored 21 goals in 28 appearances in the Premier League, but he has also broken Spurs’ all-time scoring record, going past the legendary Jimmy Greaves in the process.

There is an increasing feeling that the Englishman is not getting the very best out of his career, however, in terms of winning trophies, with the quality around him currently holding him back. Kane has been constantly linked with a summer move to United, as Erik ten Hag looks to bring in a world-class striker who is a major upgrade on the limited Wout Weghorst.

Napoli star Victor Osimhen has also emerged as a strong contender to move to Old Trafford but a fresh update suggests that the Three Lions captain is the man they are after. According to Football Insider, United are going ‘all out’ to sign Kane at the end of the season, with the club ‘willing’ to spend a huge sum of money on a new striker.

Ten Hag sees the Spurs icon as the ‘perfect number nine’ to come in and word at the Carrington training ground appears to be rife about him joining.

United will only decide to look at other options if the north Londoners are absolutely adamant that their most prized asset is going nowhere. United have grown into an excellent team this season, winning the EFL Cup and still competing in both the Europa League and FA Cup, but they lack a genuinely elite striker, like Manchester City have with Erling Haaland, for example.
