Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar votes for ‘good friend’ Zubir Ahmed

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has cast his vote at the polling station at Pollokshields Burgh Hall in Glasgow with his wife Furheen and their son Aliyan.

In a post on X, which featured snaps from his visit to the polling station, Sarwar wrote: “Delighted to vote for my good friend @zubirahmed this morning. If you want change, you have to vote for it. Vote Scottish Labour.”

Anas is the son of former governor of Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar. Meanwhile, Zubir is the Labour candidate for Glasgow South West.
