Kevin Costner ordered to pay $129K a month in child support

Kevin Costner has been ordered to pay more than double his proposed amount of child support to his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner. According to court docs obtained by Fox News, Judge Thomas Anderle ruled Tuesday that the “Yellowstone” star has to pay the handbag designer $129,755 per month to support their three children together.

Additionally, the judge ordered that Costner, 68, is required to pay $200,000 in attorney’s fees and $100,000 in forensic costs.

The former couple, who tied the knot in 2004, will each be required to pay 50 percent of their kids’ health care expenses, sports and extracurricular activities, per the outlet.

The ruling comes after Baumgartner, 49, initially requested $248,000 a month in child support – aside from an undisclosed sum of spousal support previously agreed upon in the premarital agreement.

The “Bodyguard” star did not agree with the amount she requested, claiming he can’t afford the amount she wants amid his changing job situation.

Costner also accused Baumgartner of requesting that money to fund her own personal expenses, including cosmetic procedures, boutique shopping, ATM withdrawals, construction loans and other costs that have “nothing” to do with her children.

Costner claimed that a “reasonable” amount of child support for Baumgartner would be $51,940 a month, which is what he was currently paying.

The mom of three filed for divorce from the actor after 18 years of marriage in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Since then, the former couple has been engaged in a messy battle pertaining to the terms of their prenuptial agreement. Costner had been pushing to get Baumgartner to vacate their shared home for weeks, citing a premarital agreement they both signed in 2004 that stated she would leave their marital estate within 30 days if a separation were ever to occur.

In response, Baumgartner argued that the Academy Award winner had “no legal basis” to kick her out — despite their premarital agreement.

However, last week, a judge ordered Baumgartner to move out of their shared family home by July 31, upholding the terms of their existing prenup, according to TMZ.

Though her attorneys argued that she didn’t have enough time or money to find another place to live by the end of the month, their request for an extension was ultimately rejected.
