Nigerian star Rema announces he is taking a break this December due to his health. The Afrobeat star ought to be in South Africa next week as he was booked to perform at the Hey Neighbour Fest in Pretoria, on December 9.
Taking to his Instagram stories, the Calm Down hitmaker says he has canceled his December shows.
“Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing Anywhere this December, been years of touring I’ve ignored my health and I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again love,” he wrote.
In another story, Burna Boy was supposed to perform in South Africa in September, but it got postponed to December and later got canceled.
South Africans celebrated over the cancellation of the concert, but the African Giant promised to return.
