King Charles reveals how he is doing after racism claims

King Charles appeared to be in high spirits after British TV host Piers Morgan revealed that he was one of two royals who allegedly expressed concerns over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie’s skin colour.
Page Six reports that King Charles is unbothered after the racism claims surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie’s skin colour scandal. The publication reports that the monarch is in high spirits after landing in Dubai ahead of his keynote speech at the COP28 Climate Change Conference and was greeted by Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This comes after British broadcaster Piers Morgan revealed the names of the two royals who allegedly expressed concerns over Archie’s skin colour. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first mentioned the alleged racist comments in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

The names were reportedly accidently mentioned in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s bombshell book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival. Morgan has since claimed that the names are – King Charles III and Princess Kate, wife of Prince William – on an episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday 29 November.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. In the interview, Meghan said that a member of the royal family “expressed concerns” over the skin colour of their son Archie. No names were revealed in the interview.
At the time, Prince William defended his family saying “we’re very much not a racist family,” according to The Guardian.
Scobie then claimed that Meghan accused two members of the royal household of making racist remarks, not one like previously believed.
The journalist wrote that Meghan penned a private letter of King Charles III, naming two people who took part in those “conversations” as reported by Page Six.
This was the first time a second party has been said to have been involved in the “racist comments”. However, a palace representative refuted the claim to the publication, saying it was only one person.
While Scobie did not name names in the English version of the book, reports claimed that the Dutch version of the book accidently named the royals.
