It’s not yet clear where exactly these attacks this morning took place but there are unverified videos circulating on social media of a man holding a large knife, running around a housing estate.
Hainault underground station “is closed due to a police investigation in the area,” Transport for London has posted on X, formerly Twitter.
Nearby roads have also been closed, and local buses are on diversion.
As we’ve been reporting, the Met says they’ve arrested a 36-year-old man with a sword.
