Comedian Neel Nanda tragically dies at 32

Comedian Neel Nanda has died aged 32, it has been reported. Comedy clubs like the The Comedy Chateau and The Port Comedy Club reported on his death, but shared no other details. Neel’s TV credits and work includes his time on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party.

The 32-year-old is survived by his father, his mother, and sister. Tributes poured in for the stand-up comic as several comedy clubs announced the news of his passing.

Matt Rife and Dane Cook led tributes to Neel, taking to social media to remember their late friend. “RIP Neel Nanda,” Matt tweeted on X, formerly Twitter. “You were one of the nicest, hardest working comedians I’ve ever called a friend. I hope you can be at peace brother.”

Dane wrote an emotional message on social media, but admitted that he “didn’t know Neel personally.” Regardless, he typed: “I didn’t know Neel Nanda personally but reading several tributes is both heart breaking and eye opening.

“I echo so many in expressing there is help out there,” he added. “Please remember you are never alone. People want to help you. There is a path through your pain. Prayers to Neels family, friends and fans. Dial 988 for help and love.”

Fans of the comedian took to X to share their message about Neel, with one writing: “Have just learnt of the passing of amazing comedian Neel Nanda. This is absolutely heartbreaking.

“He was such a friendly soul even if it was through online interactions. He helped me meet some of my idols. RIP,” they added before a second commented: “Neel Nanda. May his memory be a blessing. This is absolutely the hardest part about being in the comedy community. Your friends will break your heart with their own sadness.”
